The Business Enquiry Service is provided by a network of more than 200 Accredited Business Advisers, all members of the
UK Network of Enterprise Agencies, and registered with the Service by the National Federation Of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA).
The UK Network of Enterprise Agencies consists of more than 140 Local Enterprise Agency (LEA) offices in England alone, providing business advice services to all Post Code areas of England. The Service holds details of all Accredited Advisers including the post codes covered by their offices and their email addresses. When you submit an Enquiry, the Service uses your registered Post Code to locate the most appropriate Adviser for you. Occasionally an enquiry will be forwarded to a specialist Adviser but most enquiries will be routed to an Adviser in your own locality - this can provide important benefits because the Advisers have valuable local knowledge - for instance Local Authority policies, development grant opportunities, useful contacts in Banks, Accountants etc. Advisers will receive your Enquiry in their Email within a minute or so of you submitting it! However Advisers are busy people and might be out of the office for meetings with clients at the time your enquiry arrives so the Service target is to achieve a response to 90%+ of enquiries within two working days. With more complex enquiries, for instance involving research or contacting other agencies, the response time will be extended but you will be advised of progress.
Should your enquiry become more complex and perhaps require a face-to-face meeting with an Adviser you can request a meeting
using an Enquiry reply!
